Plan to reconnect this year just went from small efforts to big time move. Mac and I have been married for almost four years now. It started as a long distance dating then into long distance marriage. We have used many, many, many times over Skype time and phone calls and text messages. We worked on seeing each other every month and spent our vacation days together somewhere special.
Before 2014 was over, I handed my resignation letter because I believe it is time for a change. People envy our jet setting lifestyle but it is not that glamorous at all.
We have more mornings waking up in each others arms. We have more breakfast dates. We have more conversations over hot coffee. We have more walking exercise dates. We have more time to pray together. We have more time holding hands. We have more time making each other laugh.
Like any other decisions, I have always put my everything to it. In mind. In heart. Because I believe there should be no room for regrets. Only room for growth. Only room for hope. Only room for success. I know we will encounter problems but we have been through tough times already. So whatever will come our way, I know he is within my reach and he comes to me and call it home in heart and in actual house-home.
We are not quite there yet but it is being lifted up as our prayer.
