See you when I see you

It took us another five years to see each other here in our new home. Each one of us took this journey away from our land of birth to explore the world and give better choices for our selves and for our family.

So earlier this year, we met up in Seattle to celebrate a friend's birthday and most specially, to make more memories.

Like it is said, Seattle did not disappoint. It was raining and wet and cold the weekend we were there. But no one complained because we were warming each other's hearts with laughter and hugs and kisses. And of course, tasty mixed drinks. Always a happy hour somewhere!

We have shared among us the dramas of teenager life, the highs and lows of university life and the continuous learning of adult life. We cherished the moments when we were 13, 16, 18 and 21 through high school, crushes, first boyfriend, beach parties, late parties, father calling you and picking you up on prom nights, college entrance exams and on and on and on.

They make my life meaningful and pretty interesting. I must say I am blessed to be called their friend!

Until we have decided where to go next, I say "See you when I see you".
