My Koreanovela Fix

When it is getting cold outside, I am forced to stay in and stay warm. My guilty pleasure is watching Korean drama series. It started with "Lovers in Paris". It was televised in our Filipino channel and dubbed in Filipino. It was fun to follow days to weeks. Its story line captivated our whole household even to my younger "too cool to watch tv drama series" brothers.
We would gather in front of the tv after dinner and that includes my dad. It was a different experience because we were learning about Korean culture through the story. Plus it was just my plain old favorite love story. It is just my guilty pleasure.

Now that I have more time to stay inside, I am clamoring for new series to follow and to re-visit.
Recently,  I have learned about the Hong Sisters.  www.dramafever.com did a compilation review of their works. And I get to watch their "Greatest Love" series. It was easy to follow because dramafever already have the complete series. There was some scenes that were over the top for me but I think the writers put it there to give their characters personalities like no other.

And for this week, I will be waiting for new episodes of series currently playing in Korea. There are "Heirs" and "The Suspicious Housekeeper".
I am thinking of making a list of my favorites but here's my dilemma: top 10? top 15? top 20?. Yes, it is that many I have enjoyed so far.

Lovers in Paris
Full House
Coffee Prince
Four Sisters
Winter Sonata
Goong
Heartsrtings
Boys over Flowers
........
