Gone For The Weekend: Cebu

I’ve been back in the Philippines for a little over 2 months now. I do not know what I will be doing but what I do know is that I do plan to go back overseas.

Since I do plan to practice my second course, teaching, it is important that I register myself as a licensed teacher. I’ve been putting off going to PRC Cebu for more than a year because I just could not find the time to get all my papers ready. Aside from this, I also need some errands done. Have to get to PNB bank to get the ATM card changed, for a minimal fee, check out my younger brother’s new house, which I failed to do. They seem to be making sure I do not get to see it. My guess would be they are not living together but in their girlfriend’s houses. Also, I wanted to make sure that their school grades are in order. Since we do not have enough time, I asked Mama to do this for me and to pay the school tuition as instructed by Ate Honey. The payment went through, the original receipt is in Kuya Kevin’s hands. But, the school cannot provide us with the grades because the Registrar is not yet around and it was already about 9AM! We went back a little over 5PM but the registrar was no longer around. Major under time?!! Mama was told that the grades would be emailed to her. But, we have no news yet.

Mama wanted to come along because she wanted to buy new dancing shoes. I hope she is satisfied with SM department store choices. I know I was happy to find cute ballerina shoes for Php399 for two pairs. I bought a royal blue ballerina shoes for Lisa as her birthday gift and I got myself the hot pink version.

Buying Jeff stuff has always been a problem. I was sad to know that the brand FUBU, we swear by their American sizes, is no longer around in SM Mall. We went back to the department store but found nothing. By the way, we went to Cebu at an opportune time because there was a big sale going on. Jeff was able to buy Fila running shoes. Even though it hurt my budget, still, he needs new shoes!

And lastly, The Amazing Spiderman opened in Cebu theaters. Mama went home a day early but Jeff and I could not go home without watching Spiderman with the rest of the boys. Super fun!
