Booklover, Bookworm --- We All Are!

The Ninotchka Rosca Project. "In your status line list 10 books that have stayed with you in some way. Don't take more than a few minutes and don't think too hard. They don't have to be right or great -- just the ones that have touched you.

A project passed around from my sister, Lisa and she started with:
In no particular order

1. Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen
2. I Kissed Dating Goodbye + Boy Meets Girl - Joshua Harris
3. Eragon Series - Christopher Paolini
4. Damned - Chuck Pahlanuik
5. Stardust - Neil Gaiman
6. The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari - Robin S. Sharma
7. Veronika Decides to Die - Paulo Coelho
8. On The Road - Jack Kerouac
9. Paper Kisses - Reinhard Kaiser
10. The Griffin and Sabine Trilogy - Nick Bantock

And here's mine:

1. Persuasion (also Pride and Prejudice but I will try to keep it at 1 of Jane Austen's)

2. The Giver by Lois Lowry
3. Elizabeth's First Kiss (Sweet Valley Twins #43) by Francine Pascal
4. The Matarese Circle by Robert Ludlum (one of Papa's fave author and this story is so gruesome for my taste and that reminds me how evil can be very evil)
5. Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella (cant stop laughing reading this book)
6. Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom
7. The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren

8. Harry Potter Series (I cant pick one best but I can pick which of seven is least for me) and you all know the author
9. The Fault in our Stars by John Green
10. The Book of Ruth (Old Testaments)

----- it did take me awhile to get started and by 7, I can name a few more. Mostly from what you and Audrey were reading.

So Audrey shared hers:

1. Little Women - Honeylou Mirasol Lim thanks for this book
2. Sweet Valley Twins Special The Haunted House - thanks again Ate Hon
3. The Alchemist
4. The Secret Letters of The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari
5. Tuesdays with Morrie
6. Outliers
7. Nicholas Sparks A Walk To Remember
8. Eat Pray Love
9. The Little Prince
10. The Lost Symbol

“I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of any thing than of a book! -- When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.” - Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice

Photo taken about six years ago. Audrey at Bonifacio High Street getting started on a new book. If I can remember it right, she did not like it.
